Welcome to the Swift Car Care and Express Autocare website. We have worked hard to reach the highly successful position we are in today. Beginning back in 1988, we have progressed into a trusted and recognizable Garage Business having serviced thousands of cars and returning them to many satisfied owners. We have built our success on honesty, clarity and fair pricing, which has allowed us the privilege to give back much to the local community. We are proud of our achievements!
1988
Mo & Raza set up their first ever Garage Business.
Set up Garage in Peterborough (UK) with financial assistance from HRH Prince Charles and Peterborough City Council.
1990
Mo & Raza Datoo paid of the loans to PYBT & PCC. In appreciation of early payment, the Brothers are Invited to meet HRH Prince of Wales at Sandringham House and were presented with PYBT Best Business of the Year Award.
1991
Invited by Princes Youth Business Trust for a photo session with Lord Litchfield as one of the top ten successful business under the Princes Youth Business Trust scheme.
Both brothers were Invited to meet HRH Prince Charles at St James Place in recognition as PYBT’s most successful business of the Year 1991.
1992
Swift Car Care Services is Awarded Business of Excellence by Readers Digest Magazine out of 12,000 entrants. By this time Swift Car Care had moved from a small lock up unit to its first ever owned premises. This site of Swift Car Care Services was opened which incorporated Swift Auto body Repair Centre.
1993
Awarded the UK young Asian business of the Year Award.
Invited to Buckingham Place as the Flagship Business of the PYBT for last 5 Years. Swift Car Care was chosen from 15,000 entrants.
1994
Second branch of Swift Car Care Services opened in Stamford, Nr Peterborough, Lincs.
Mo Datoo invited to join Princes Youth Business Trust Committee in Cambridge to help new up and coming businesses.
1996
Third site of Swift Car Care Services opened in Peterborough. Known as St Pauls Road Garage based in New England, Peterborough, This branch catered for customers from northern side of Peterborough (Werrington, Walton, Glinton and Market Deeping).
1998
Swift Auto body Repairs was one of the most successful autobody repairs centres in Peterborough and was is bought out by Perrys PLC.
2000
Swift Car Care opened in Peterborough under the name of Express Autocare in Woodston Peterborough to cater for customers from south side of Peterborough The Ortons, Longthorpe, Woodston, Stanground and Hampton, etc.
2008
Swift Car Care opens its one acre car sales site in Brampton near Huntingdon.
Where is the next branch going to open? Negotiations are ongoing with several garages in and around peterborough...
